As Christmas morning dawned in Sri Lanka, we remembered with love those that mark a somber Christmas. Members, partners and friends of the American Chamber of Commerce in Sri Lanka came together to donate almost one million Rupees worth of hampers to families in Batticaloa affected by the 2019 Easter tragedy. The hampers were handed over to representatives of the Zion Church in Batticaloa, the location of the blast, where sadly, many children lost their lives on that fateful day. AmCham SL thanks everyone who joined us in our
initiative to reach out to these families as we endeavoured to lift their spirits during Christmas.
