A Luncheon Meeting was held to host visiting officials from the Overseas Private Investment Corporation (OPIC). Jamie Ekern – Director, SME Finance made a presentation on the various financing options being offered by OPIC and the qualifying criteria for businesses and projects seeking such financing options. The Open Panel / Round Table discussion was moderated by Ranel Wijesinha – Chartered Accountant and International Management Consultant and was attended by CEO’s, CFO’s and COO’s of Banking & Financial Institutions. Other members of the Panel included; Suren Rajanathan (President – AmCham), William Weinstein (Deputy Chief of Mission – US Embassy for Sri Lanka & Maldives), Kenneth Angell (Managing Director – Project Finance OPIC), Jamie Ekern (Director – SME Finance OPIC), Rette Lopp (Asst. General Counsel OPIC) and Nimal Cooke (Director – AmCham).
